Founded in October 2016 by industry experts Jaliya Ranaweera (ACA, F.M.A.A.T) and Keshani Weerasiri (M.A.A.T, CBA), our firm brings together extensive experience in bookkeeping and accounting dating back to 2009. Both partners are Certified QB Pro Advisors, active members of the QB Online Community, and Certified Advisors in Xero Accounting. They have conducted numerous training sessions to help businesses and their team members manage their day-to-day accounting needs on these platforms. Additionally, both partners are active members of freelancing communities in the USA.
The Firm excel in assessing client requirements and offering creative solutions tailored to their budget options. Our team currently consists with many passionate individuals who excels in crunching numbers and delivering high quality bookkeeping and accounting reporting, with the founders personally overseeing each project with a team of Managerial level employees. We also outsource additional human resources when necessary.

Jaliya is the Managing Partner and Co-founder of J K Accounting and Business Associates. He plays a major role in client relations, overseeing the team's work on accounts, performing bookkeeping and accounting reconciliations, and preparing monthly management financials. His expertise also extends to budget and cash flow projections. With more than 14 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, auditing, risk management, and counseling on cash flow and budget preparations, Jaliya brings a wealth of knowledge to the firm.
As a qualified Chartered Accountant in Sri Lanka, Jaliya began his career at a leading local audit firm, where he gained valuable experience. He then served as Group Accountant for Dreamron Lanka (Pty) Ltd, an international manufacturing company based in Sri Lanka, and later as Chief Executive Officer in an apparel group of companies. It was during this time that he and the firm's other partner decided to establish J K Accounting and Business Associates as a legal entity to better serve their clients. Since then, Jaliya has dedicated himself to his own business, serving numerous clients in the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia. He is a Certified QBO Pro Advisor, an active member of the QB Community, and a Certified Advisor in Xero Accounting.
Keshani is the Co-founding Partner of J K Accounting and Business Associates. She primarily focuses on HR management, client relations, bookkeeping and accounting reconciliations, and recruitment for the business. With over 12 years of experience in bookkeeping, accountancy, and internal auditing across the finance, manufacturing, and banking sectors, Keshani brings a robust background to the firm.
She completed her articles at Kreston MNS & Co., one of the leading accounting firms in the country, and is a Certified Business Accountant. Keshani provides consultancy services to non-government organizations, travel agencies, retail trade ventures, e-commerce, and advertising agencies for the firm's USA, UK, and Canada-based clients. She is a Qualified QB Pro Advisor (currently in the process of renewing her advisory level) and a Certified Advisor in Xero Accounting.
